Ithaca/Weston Wrestling Co-Op Meeting Reminder
Looks like the Weston kindergarten students were really roughing it in their classroom on the last days of school🏕️😂 Mrs. Shaw and her students set up tents, made s'mores, and even told some 'campfire' stories. It's 'in-tents' how much fun they had learning together all year long! #LearningAdventure #TheWestonWay

Weston has been fortunate this year to have two foreign exchange students join our community❤️ Maddalena Mariottini, from Assisi, Italy taught the high school students in Foods class how to make penne pesto. What a wonderful, and delicious, lesson about foods and cultures beyond our community! #TheWestonWay

On Wednesday, May 24, Berit Hines visited the Weston Art Room for a ceramics session with Weston Senior High wheel-thrown pottery student, Logan Bingham. Logan just started throwing on the wheel in late January and has developed from novice to advanced very quickly. 🌟Berit Hines received her BFA in ceramics from the Royal Academy of Art and Design in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. She worked as a full-time studio potter from 1987 to 1997 with regular exhibitions in the Netherlands and Germany. After immigrating to the USA and a 22-year hiatus, she is now happy to be part of the vibrant art communities of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Madison, Wisconsin, where she spends her winters and summers. #TheWestonWay
