🏀Calling all aspiring hoopsters 🏀 If you're a 2nd-5th grade boy with a passion for basketball, it's time to suit up and get in the game! Practice will be immediately after school and on Sunday's from 5:00-6:00pm. Weston Youth Tournament is February 3rd. Game Schedules are still being finalized but will be sent your way soon! November 27th, 2023 Good Morning Weston! -- What’s for lunch today: Mini corn dogs, baked beans, and broccoli salad. --There will be an FBLA meeting Wednesday during SOAR in Ms. Landsinger’s room --Did you know, the Weston Schools have been open for 67 years but our mighty eagle mascot doesn’t have name? Would you like a chance to make your mark on Silver Eagle history and name our mascot? Be the class to win the Junior High Student Council’s Penny War and your class will get that chance. During lunch all week, Junior High Student Council Members will be collecting funds for the Penny War. Pennies in your jar equals points for your class. Put other coins and bills into other class jars to take away points and sabotage their chance to win. At the end of the week, whatever class has the most points will get a chance to name the eagle! --Good luck to the high school boy's basketball team as they travel to New Lisbon tonight. --Deer hunters did you find success this year, if so send or bring Mr. Niemeyer a picture of your harvest for his door and to get entered into the big buck contest. Prizes will be given out at the end of the week. Congratulations to all the successful hunters. -Happy birthday to Gabrielle Bulin and Ethan Craker over the break

The Weston FBLA will once again host its annual Pack the Pantry Food & Hygiene Drive from November 13th-30th. Non-perishable, unexpired food items and personal hygiene products will be accepted at either Weston School Office or at one of the local businesses participating: -Soltwedels Store- Cazenovia -Bostons Bah- Cazenovia -Royal Bank- Cazenovia -Ma and Pa's Pit Stop- Cazenovia --Items donated will be dispersed through the Weston NHS Giving Tree Program, and donated to the Reedsburg Area Food Pantry, Passages, and the Ada James Afterschool Program. --If you have any questions please reach out to Maggie Landsinger at 608-986-2380 ext. 222 or email landsinger@weston.k12.wi.us
