Tuesday, March 9 and Wednesday, March 10 Will Be Virtual Learning Days
This coming Tuesday, March 9th Weston will be a virtual day. On Tuesday, the Weston staff will be intermittently going to the Richland Center Community Center to get their first vaccine for COVID. This means that Weston will have back to back virtual days of Tuesday, March 9th and Wednesday, March 10th. Tuesday March 9th was originally scheduled for only high school to be virtual to allow the juniors to take their ACT. The entire Weston School District, grades 4K-12, will now be all virtual on Tuesday, March 9th, with the juniors taking the ACT exam at school on that day.
The good news is that more vaccinations are occurring and that we anticipate that this will be the only day we will need to go virtual for the vaccine. The 21-day wait period for the second dose of the vaccine will coincide with the Weston Spring Break which occurs Saturday, March 27th to Monday, April 5th with a return date of Tuesday, April 6th.
Weston School District thanks you for your patience and understanding as we all progress through this challenging time. Hope is on the horizon. Have a good day, stay well and stay safe. Eagle Pride!! #TheWestonWay
