Kristi Burch-Zimmerman is a qualified educator and holds a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education, Master’s degree in Collaborative Educational Leadership and is currently working on her Doctorate in Educational Leadership/Transformational leadership with certification in administration, curriculum director, and pupil services. Burch-Zimmerman loves learning and reading which encourages her to be a life-long learner.
Burch-Zimmerman is no stranger to working with children. She has been a teacher, a parent of four, a foster parent, a daycare provider, a tutor, and currently is working with a school in Liberia, Africa. She serves as co-director, teacher trainer, and curriculum director to support Borto school in LIberia. She has had the honor of traveling to Liberia twice to work at the school and will be traveling this summer again. Burch-Zimmerman and her husband are in the process of adopting an 8 year old little girl from Liberia.
Burch-Zimmerman is passionate about instilling the joy of learning and reading with her students. She believes in developing a classroom culture of compassion, collaborations, and creativity where all students know how much she cares about them.
